A Virtual Share April 4th

Posted On 01/04/2020

Welcome to our blog! With a pandemic upon us, the need to socially distance and an uncertain future we are discovering new ways to connect to each other. Right now there’s a need to support our community to grow fresh and healthy food and we’re doing it online.

Join us on Saturday 4th April as we trial a live broadcast of our monthly share for April. One of our favourite things about the share is coming together to connect, chat and share knowledge. Although we won’t be having a face to face veggie share, there’s nothing stopping us from sharing our knowledge and skills. We’ve asked a few people to make short videos of how they prepare their gardens and although none of us are experts, we’re willing to share, learn and grow together.

There are many ways to be successful in the garden, from growing in pots, to having a big yard, using raised beds or planting straight into the soil. So we thought we’d demonstrate a few ways that work in short videos, followed by a LIVE question and answer session. We will be using a program called zoom to host the meet. You are invited to attend by following this link:

We’ll be online from 8.30 to help anyone who hasn’t used it before get connected.

We look forward to our first online share with you!
